Recently my parents gave me an old Polaroid
Spectra camera that they purchased nearly twenty years ago.
The camera was in their closet collecting dust and they figured
I could add the camera to my ever growing collection of "collectible"
cameras. I was delighted to find out that I could still purchase
film for the camera and it still worked. Rather than put the
camera on the shelf with my other old cameras I decided to put
it to use. Rather than determine what camera setting was required
or what ASA film to use or what length lens to use my focus
with the Polaroid is composition and trying to portray the ordinary
in a slightly unordinary way. The images in this gallery are
high quality scans from the original Polaroid image. To obtain
prints from the original images please contact
the photographer.
